Gugelhupf

Ingredients

 

4 egg yorks

4 egg whites

1/8 l poppy oil

1/8 l water

280 g flour

1 pinch baking powder

250 g sugar

Butter and flour for the baking pan

 

Preparation

 

Preheat the oven up to 200°C. Stir egg yorks and sugar until a creamy texture emerge. Slowly add oil and water to it while continuing to stir. Merge baking powder with the flour and at add it to the dough. Beat the egg white until it is stiff and gently fold it in the dough. Fill the dough into the prepared baking pan. Back it at 200°degree for one hour.

The simple things are often the best – perfect when spontaneous guests are about to arrive.
